I Am A Writer – Jeff Goins Video Contest

I made this video for Jeff Goins’ contest to declare yourself a writer. I am. Here’s my public declaration, with the help of some of the greatest all time writers:

I am a writer, home business owner, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and child of the King. What are you? Declare it in the comments!

Update: Here are the contest winners. This little video received an Honorable Mention: http://goinswriter.com/contest-winner/

My name is Kathy Staton; and I AM A WRITER, and soon to be an AUTHOR.

    • Sarah Elisabeth says:

That’s the way to do it, Kathy! What are you writing?

I know it’s been awhile since I left the above comment. I am very interested in writing flash fiction. Short, sweet, and to the point. I could use the practice to learn how to tighten my writing for short pieces. I just got back into Faithwriters as a Platinum 500 member. I actually created an Author page on FW. Still have to add some more to the biography. I have an idea that I came up with probably in 2005 or so about a Creation story with images and text. I have some graphic design skills that I may add to the images. I plan on entering the Writing Challenges starting Jan. 7, 2016 to get back into the writing habit again.By the way, I really enjoyed your book, “Third Side of the Coin”. It was very engaging. Especially the story “I’d Rather Die” about a young woman who was faced with a decision to deny Jesus or admit she was a Christian and die for her faith. I enjoyed the ending of the story which would be a happy ending for her, but not for others. I know some people chooses wrong and end up losing their soul to the devil. Keep up the good work, Elizabeth, and keep spreading the faith, in the name of Jesus.

Yay for you, Kathy! Years ago, I entered the Faithwriters Challenge for a solid sixteen months. Never missed a week except when I served as one of the judges.

Thank you for the kind comments about Third Side of the Coin. I hope the best for you with your writing!

By the way, I tried to get a free download of your book “Touch My tears”. When I put my email in, an error message came up. Said I was already in the system.
